Pickering, ask us to observe two minutes of silence in remembrance of the
over 112,000 who gave up their lives for our freedom.

Rotarian Bill Boyes, Equipment Manager for Canada's Junior Hockey Team -
World Champions January, 2005. There were 51 in attendance. A lemon
meringue pie auctioned for $60.

Centennial Gala dinner at Royal Ashburn Golf Club including all the Durham
Region Rotary clubs. Gary Polonsky, President of Ontario University
Institute of Technology, was the speaker. Pickering Mayor David Ryan and
his wife Ann were our guests.
